Advisory first

Best for workplaces that want a premium hydration point in meeting areas, kitchens, or client-facing spaces, without introducing the visible footprint of a freestanding cooler or countertop dispenser.

The Borg & Overstrom T3 is an integrated workplace hydration system built around a compact tap and an undercounter chiller module. It pairs the same dispense options as the B and E ranges (chilled, ambient and hot, with optional sparkling) with a near-invisible installation: only the tap is seen, with the working hardware tucked under the counter. It's the cleanest of the four formats and is designed for workplaces that treat the kitchen as part of the brand.

The hot tap delivers near-boiling water at up to 98°C, instantly ready for tea, coffee and instant meals. It's deliberately held just below boiling point (98°C, not 100°C), so it dispenses cleanly and safely without the spluttering or scalding steam of a true boiling tap, and a two-step safety lock on the hot button helps prevent accidental use.

We typically recommend the T3 for premium fit-outs, executive kitchens, client lounges and meeting-area counters where a traditional dispenser would feel out of place. It's also a strong fit for hospitality and small commercial kitchens, where workflow matters and the tap format integrates with how users already interact with sinks and fixtures.

Specifying a T3 is a slightly different conversation to the dispenser models. We need to confirm undercounter clearance for the chiller module, the tap location, and how the cabinet ventilates, alongside the usual mains-water and power requirements. We walk through these constraints early so the install is straightforward and the result looks intentional rather than retrofitted.

In practice

Why this works for workplace teams

Consultative fit-out planning

We assess usage patterns, undercounter clearance, and tap placement before recommending whether the T3 is the right choice for your site.

Improved employee and visitor experience

A sleek tap format helps shared areas feel more premium while keeping fast access to daily hydration. The install reads as intentional rather than added on.

Operational reliability

Undercounter architecture and planned servicing routines make it easier to maintain consistent performance, and the chiller stays out of sight and out of the way.

Common Borg & Overstrom T3 questions

Answers to what we're most often asked when scoping a rollout.

Pick the T3 when the kitchen is part of the brand experience and a visible dispenser would feel out of place: premium client-facing kitchens, executive areas, hospitality lobbies. The dispense capability is comparable to the B/E range, but the form factor is invisible.

The hot tap delivers near-boiling water at up to 98°C, instantly hot enough for tea, coffee and instant meals. It's deliberately held just below boiling point (98°C, not 100°C) so it dispenses cleanly and safely, without the spluttering or scalding steam of a true boiling tap. A two-step safety lock on the hot button helps prevent accidental dispensing.

More planning than a countertop dispenser. We confirm undercounter clearance for the chiller module, tap location, ventilation, plus the standard mains-water and power requirements. With those constraints agreed up front, the install itself is straightforward.

Yes. The underlying chiller is built for shared workplace throughput. The tap-led format doesn't compromise on capacity. If demand is genuinely high-traffic operational rather than premium-shared, a freestanding E6 may still be the better fit; we help you decide.

Yes, as an optional configuration specified at install. It requires the additional dispenser hardware and a CO₂ cylinder bay in the undercounter cabinet, so we agree the cabinet layout up front.

Service access is one of the things we agree during fit-out planning. The cabinet needs to be accessible to facilities and our service team without disturbing the rest of the kitchen. Done well, the chiller stays out of sight and out of the way, but is easy to reach when it needs attention.
