The Franke A Line A800 sits at the top of Franke's New A Line, the 2026 generation unveiled at Host Milano in October 2025 and brought to the UK and Ireland in April 2026. It is engineered as the performance specialist of the platform: a triple boiler system plus parallel dispensing prepares coffee, milk and hot water simultaneously rather than queueing each step, with intelligent recipe sequencing keeping the right drinks in the right order at peak. That is what unlocks throughput in hotels, breakfast services and coffee shop morning rushes.

Daily capacity is rated up to 250 cups, with comfortable headroom for sites where peak hour concentrates demand. Up to three independent grinders and two powder hoppers cover the full hot-drink menu (espresso, americano, lattes, cappuccinos, hot chocolate, matcha, decaf) without compromise. iQFlow real-time extraction control is standard, the new FoamMaster delivers hot and cold foam across dairy and plant-based milks with less waste, and Franke's milk-path options (IndividualMilk and DualMilk) keep two milks separate for sites where vegan and dairy must not cross-contaminate.

PrecisionTemp delivers beverage-specific water temperatures and the new HeatGuard boiler reduces idle heat loss meaningfully over a full service day. FrankeOS runs the 10.4-inch touchscreen with guided workflows for both self-service and staff modes, and FrankeConnect, new for the 2026 platform, adds cloud connectivity for over-the-air software updates, centralised menu/recipe/price management across sites, remote diagnostics and real-time monitoring. The add-on family covers Cooling Units for chilled milk and plant-based alternatives, a Flavour Station in 3- or 6-syrup configurations for in-cup customisation, a 3-tray Cup Warmer, and Accounting Systems for paid environments. Available in Onyx, Granite and Mahogany finishes.

Common Franke A Line A800 questions

Answers to what we're most often asked when scoping a rollout.

This is the New A Line that Franke launched at Host Milano in October 2025 and brought to the UK and Ireland in April 2026, with global rollout through the end of 2026. iQFlow is now standard, the FoamMaster is the new-generation unit, the HeatGuard boiler is new, and FrankeConnect cloud is new. The Classic A800 is the previous generation, and we only spec the New A Line.

The A800 can prepare two beverages at the same time rather than queueing each one. For a barista pulling two flat whites, both drinks complete simultaneously instead of one after the other. Throughput at peak roughly doubles versus a sequential-dispense machine: the difference between a queue clearing and a queue building.

Pick the A800 when peak demand is concentrated (a hotel breakfast service, a coffee shop morning rush, a restaurant pre-dinner sitting) or when daily volume will regularly exceed 200 cups. The A600 is the better fit for steadier all-day demand and more modest peaks. Both share the same platform (iQFlow, FoamMaster, HeatGuard, FrankeOS, FrankeConnect), so the choice is about throughput, not features.

The new FoamMaster delivers cold milk and cold foam alongside hot, so iced lattes and cold-foam drinks are supported from the same machine. It is not a dedicated cold-brew system, however, so for cafés whose menu leans heavily on cold brew and nitro, a specialist cold system would complement the A800.

FrankeConnect is the cloud platform that ships with the New A Line. It enables remote setup, over-the-air software updates, centralised menu/recipe/price management across multiple sites, real-time monitoring and remote diagnostics. For a multi-site operator it is a meaningful step forward, with one price change pushed to every machine at once. It also lets us pre-empt service visits rather than react. Opt-in; configured at install.

Plumbed water connection, 16-amp or 32-amp commercial socket depending on the configuration and accessories specced, and clearance for service access. Standard install timeline is 2 to 3 weeks once the configuration is agreed. We coordinate any accessory unit installs (Cooling Unit, Flavour Station) at the same time and handle FrankeConnect setup as part of commissioning.

IndividualClean handles daily and weekly automatic routines, with a detergent cycle roughly every 400 cups. Quarterly preventative maintenance is standard for high-volume sites, with consumable replacements (gaskets, filters, seals) on a six- to twelve-month cycle depending on usage. Remote diagnostics via FrankeConnect catches issues early.

Franke A-line machines have long parts availability and a mature service ecosystem in the UK. Standard manufacturer warranty applies, with extended cover available as part of the service contract. We hold common parts in van stock for first-visit fix on most issues.
