The Necta Gusto 8 Pro Touch (formerly the Necta Orchestra Touch) is the combi snack and cold drinks vending machine in the Necta range, built for sites that want both product categories from a single floor footprint rather than two machines side by side. The cabinet is black anodised aluminium with a diamond-cut frame around the interface, which is a step up from the utility look of typical combo machines and sits well in reception areas, hotel public spaces and client-facing parts of a workplace.
The Touch is the version we recommend, for one practical reason: the shopping basket. The 7-inch touchscreen lets people browse, add several items and pay once, instead of making a separate purchase for every product. That is quicker for the person in front of the machine and for the queue behind them, and it makes a snack and a drink one payment rather than two. The screen also carries promotions and full nutritional information for whatever is selected.
Inside, Necta's VisioShop trays are transparent and modular, so the width of each selection can be changed to suit the packaging, from crisps and confectionery to cans and bottles. The cabinet can be set up for ambient snacks, chilled cans and bottles, fresh food at 0 to 4 degrees, or a mix, with up to seven trays, 53 selections and 464 products. A lift lowers products to the collection bin rather than dropping them. We typically recommend it for smaller to medium offices that want snacks and drinks in one footprint, and as the snack unit in a bank with the Barista 1000 Touch (hot drinks) and the Gusto Drum (fresh food).
