The Borg & Overstrom B3 is a premium floor-standing water dispenser for workplaces that want a reliable, always-available hydration point in shared spaces. It delivers chilled, ambient and hot filtered water from a flush, touch-sensitive panel, with optional sparkling via Borg & Overstrom's DeepSparkle system. Because it stands on its own footprint, it can go exactly where demand is, break rooms, corridors, receptions, anywhere people gather, without needing a counter.
Under the panel is Borg & Overstrom's Direct Chill system, a fully sealed cooling circuit that chills water on demand rather than storing it, delivering up to 30 litres of chilled or sparkling water an hour and hot water at up to 92 degrees. The dispense area takes sports bottles and jugs as well as cups, which suits refill culture in busy workplaces, and the dispense height works for both adults and children, which is why the B3 is a popular choice in schools, healthcare settings and visitor-facing spaces as well as offices.
Rather than treating the B3 as an off-the-shelf install, we take a consultative approach. The B3's Direct Chill system delivers up to 30 litres of chilled water an hour, which comfortably supports busy offices and high-usage communal areas. We size the recommendation to your headcount and peak periods during the consultation rather than quoting a one-size-fits-all number.
The footprint is compact, 325mm wide by 380mm deep, standing just over a metre tall. You'll want a little clearance for people to approach comfortably. We confirm the exact position during the on-site survey, along with access for the mains-water feed.
Yes. The B3 is mains-fed, so it needs a cold-water connection and a standard power socket nearby. Our install team handles everything on the day, including commissioning and a usage walk-through.
Each install comes with a planned service schedule covering filter exchanges and routine sanitisation. Most issues are resolved in a single visit, and where the unit supports it we monitor remotely so we can catch any performance drops early.
The sparkling configuration is normally specified at install time, since it requires the DeepSparkle dispenser hardware and a CO₂ cylinder bay. If you want flexibility for the future, flag it during the survey and we'll plan ahead so it can be added with minimal disruption.
