The Necta Barista 1000 Touch (formerly the Necta Maestro Touch) is the floor-standing hot drinks tower from Necta, the vending brand of EVOCA Group. Necta is one of the largest vending manufacturers in Europe, and the Barista 1000 is its answer to sites that want premium hot drinks in a high-volume unattended setting. The 24-inch Full HD touchscreen, with built-in speakers, does real work: a full drinks menu, drink personalisation, promotional content, complete nutritional information, and filters for decaf, gluten-free and organic options.
Every Barista 1000 brews espresso from fresh beans through Necta's Z4000 brewer and pairs it with instant ingredients for chocolate, milk drinks and speciality recipes, with up to nine ingredient canisters and two boilers behind the door. The machine is configured to the site rather than sold as one fixed spec. Choose 9oz cups or the larger 12oz takeaway format, add a fresh leaf tea brewer where tea matters, and specify twin bean hoppers where you want two coffee blends on offer. Cup capacity runs from 650 to 1,000 depending on configuration. We settle all of this at the survey, based on who will be using the machine and how busy it gets.
The Barista 1000 Touch is designed to stand in a bank with the Necta Gusto 8 Pro Touch (snacks and cold drinks) and the Gusto Drum (fresh food), sharing the same black anodised aluminium styling so a multi-machine site looks planned rather than improvised. For hospitals, university campuses, transport hubs and large workplace amenity floors that want drinks and food vending in one place, the Barista 1000 is typically the centrepiece. We recommend it when the touchscreen is doing real work. For a typical office break room, a smaller machine is usually the better fit.
